Charity Work for 2017

Hello fellow readers,

well this past year has not been a good one for SewGeekAustin. Sales have been down, partially that is my fault and partially I blame Hot Topic. LOL

But now for a more serious post, in 2016 I have not been able to donate nearly as much as I have in previous years, so I am asking you all my trusty readers to help me out.

I am still going to donate 10% of all my online sales to charities. Help me pick the charities for the year. I am also asking you to spread the word about my shop. I am hoping to get back to more sewing items rather then jewelry. I am planning some new one of kind handbags.
Also if you want anything custom made please contact me and I will try my best to make it happen.

Let’s see if we can get to 6000 FB likes by the end of the year and I will hold a pretty awesome new Years give away. (well I will do that anyways)

Also please don’t forget to sign up for my Newsletter here: Newletter Sign Up

I am looking forward to raising more money again and to make Geeks all over the world happy.

11 years ago, on this day we heard the now infamous words “Dad’s on a hunting trip and hasn’t been home in a few days”, it’s when we fell in love with Sam and Dean Winchester.

To celebrate this occasion SewGeekAustin is offering a Coupon Code for 15% off your entire purchase for the day.

Use Coupon Code SPNDAY to receive the discount at checkout.

This offer is only valid on 9/13/16

Going Back in Time…

4 years ago when I first started this business, I made wrap bracelets and I made a lot of them. For some reason I stopped making them.
Well prepare yourself, cause I am making them again. They are back in stock and I am excited.
These wrap bracelets show your fandom very subtlety and make a fashion statement at the same time.

I changed the design just a little bit and am using a bit bigger beads and leather cording. So they are more durable.

These sell for $28 plus shipping

Not Another Craft Blog

I am pretty sure that is what you are thinking right now. Yeah I know, but I think I am qualified to do this.

Am I a great writer? Not sure about that. Am I a passionate crafter? You bet.

So what are my qualifications? Well I grew up in Switzerland and there I learned to knit, sew, crochet, needle point and a lot of other crafts in school. Yes you read that right, in school. If you visited my Etsy store SewGeekAustin, you see the wide array of crafty items for geeks. If not, you better go and check it out. Read More
